About Deanna

Deanna Caswell has been a nanny, lab tech, teacher, waitress, calculus tutor, counselor, and mountain guide. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry, a minor in Math, and an M.A. in Family Therapy. Deanna has traveled to forty-one states, Canada, England, France, Italy, and Africa. But, all that happened a WAY long time ago.

These days, she writes anytime she’s not in charge of her three children. The Caswell household also includes four red-headed chickens (Lola, Monty, Ronnie, Bird) and two miniature goats (Lily and Sylvie.)

Deanna’s first book, FIRST BALLET (Hyperion) arrives October 28, 2009.  Her second book, TRAIN TRIP (Hyperion) arrives Fall 2010.
